A Message from the Chairman
As we reflect on the past semester and what we have accomplished, I could not be more proud to represent this organization. Though we have came along way, the challenges that lay before us in the 2012 election cycle are of astronomical importance to our generation. In 2012 Arkansans will be faced with the decision to stay on course with the Obama agenda or divert to a path to prosperity and restoring America to it’s greatness.
A 15 trillion dollar debt has been placed on our tab, along with a youth unemployment rate that is double the national average. After graduating college young Americans can’t find meaningful employment, thus are unable to repay their student loans. Add President Obama’s out of control spending spree and failed economic policies and you have what many are calling the “lost generation“.
Recognizing what is at stake, Arkansas College Republicans are taking every step to grow, train, and mobilize our organization into the largest and most effective student political organization in Arkansas. Whether it be voter registration drives, phone-banking, or neighborhood canvassing we are committed to making Barack Obama a one-term president and defeating those who enable his agenda at the state capitol and replacing them with the first-ever Republican majority.
We believe that this is our time to make a difference, and are committed to doing so. Will you join us?
